Meridian Ports Services Limited has donated assorted items towards the organization of the Annual Independence Anniversary Inter School Debate.
The items included boxes of water, biscuits and drinks to be used to serve as refreshment for 1300 students from six second cycle institutions who are competing in this event.
Presenting the items on behalf of the CEO and all the colleagues at MPS, Nana Obrempong, Community Liaison Officer said that apart from our core objective to run a very efficient container terminal operations, we at MPS are passionate about education and strongly believe Education is a tool that can be used to nurture the future generation who will manage the port infrastructure that MPS embarked on developing.
Receiving the items, the Metro Director Education, Mrs. Margaret Nsiah- Asamoah mentioned that they were overwhelmed by the support and extremely grateful for the gesture. She explained that the items would go a long way to ensure the success of the debate.
