On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Ghana Chapter held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and cocktail event at Meridian Port Services Ltd, Terminal 3 of Tema Port. The event brought together key members of the ICC and Ghana’s business community for an engaging session of reflection, celebration, and forward-looking discussions.
In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Mohamed Samara, Vice Chairman of ICC Ghana and CEO of Meridian Port Services Ltd, delivered an inspiring keynote address. He underscored the critical role of port infrastructure in facilitating and boosting trade and industry through enhanced connectivity, while reaffirming ICC Ghana’s commitment to supporting businesses across sectors.

The General Secretary of ICC Ghana, Mr. Emmanuel Doni-Kwame, extended an open invitation to businesses across the country to join the Chamber. He outlined the benefits of membership, which include access to an extensive professional network, resources for business development, and opportunities for advocacy at both national and international levels. Expanding ICC Ghana’s membership remains a priority to enhance its collective influence and impact.
The event also aligned with H.E. President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of a 24-hour economy.
