Streamlined Digital Operations for Paperless and Effortless Business Transactions at MPS At the new Meridian Port Services Terminal, cutting-edge digitalisation drives every aspect of our operations, ensuring efficiency and convenience for our valued customers. Leveraging the latest technologies, we have developed an intuitive online portal to streamline interactions and save precious time.Upon registration, freight forwarders, truck drivers, and customers gain access to our secure online platform, empowering them to schedule appointments seamlessly through our Truck Appointment System (TAS). This user-friendly portal provides customers with a personalized dashboard, offering visibility into their information and container availability. Operating around the clock, our Truck Appointment System and online portal eliminate the need for manual processes, minimising wait times and enhancing overall efficiency. In real-time, the TAS interfaces with our centralized Terminal Operating System (TOS), validating all relevant data with precision and accuracy. Upon confirmation of an appointment, registered trucks and drivers are warmly welcomed at the MPS Terminal, where biometric fingerprint validation and unique identification stickers ensure secure access. This advanced authentication process safeguards our visitors, staff, and cargo, ensuring full compliance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code. Digital validation continues throughout the visit, reinforcing the integrity of the appointment process. As trucks enter the terminal premises, automated workflows are triggered at Optical Character Recognition (OCR) portals, seamlessly verifying appointment details and truck conditions in real-time. Equipped with state-of-the-art Optical Recognition Cameras, these portals capture and validate essential data, including IMO Hazard Codes, container quantities, and seal integrity. By the time trucks reach the terminal gates, all necessary information is processed, and RFID technology automatically identifies each vehicle. Routing slips are promptly generated, guiding trucks to their designated destinations within the yard with precision and efficiency. As trucks proceed to their assigned areas, e-RTG operators receive automated work orders through the Terminal Operating System, facilitating seamless container handling. Once loading or unloading is complete, trucks undergo final verification at the out-gate OCR portals before exiting the terminal premises. Experience the ease and efficiency of our digitalized processes by scheduling your appointment here.
