The primary objectives of the ISPS Code are:

  1. The ISPS Code aims to enhance maritime security by enabling the detection of potential security threats and facilitating the implementation of effective security measures to mitigate risks.
  2. The ISPS Code  outlines clear roles and responsibilities concerning maritime security for governments, local administrations, as well as the ship and port industries at both national and international levels. This ensures a coordinated and collaborative approach to safeguarding maritime assets and infrastructure against security threats.

You can download the ISPS Code from reputable maritime security websites or directly from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) website.

rules

In our pursuit of an injury-free environment, we have implemented various safety protocols and initiatives within our container handling terminal. Chief among these is our ‘pedestrian-free’ policy, effectively eliminating the risk of interaction between individuals and machinery. Additionally, our introduction of the Fatal 5 Safety Program targets the most critical hazards in our operations: Transportation, Suspended Loads and Lifting, Work at Height, Stored Energy, and Management of Contractors. Through these proactive measures and others, our paramount goal remains ensuring the safe return of every individual home each day, free from harm.
