The vision this government had, has come to fruition and is serving the Ghanaian economy. We also commend you for the partnership that is making Tema Port the best. We want to use you as one of the models to invite more private partners to support us. We urge you to do more and look forward to the access roads that will ease cargo transportation and traffic,” the Minister stated.
Mr. Lars Vang Christensen, representing the shareholders, reaffirmed their commitment to the partnership. “As shareholders, we firmly believe that we can further enhance the partnership and look forward to expanding our commitment. We think it is an opportunity for H.E. John Mahama to drive more business to Ghana, and we are happy to assist,” he said.
The visit concluded with a commitment from the Ministry of Transport and GPHA to continue supporting initiatives that enhance the operational efficiency and competitiveness of Ghana’s ports. The assurance was given that the government is thinking of resetting Ghana and believes that MPS is one of the partners to realize the President’s vision of a 24-hour economy.
