The MPS Terminal 3 infrastructure, an interplay between infrastructure, industrialization and service sectors providing an important platform for trade to support development has since the start of operation in 2019 provided efficient connectivity along the West Coast of Africa.
In anticipation of increased container traffic demand, an additional 16 gantry cranes (3 STS and 13 eRTG) are on order and expected in the 2nd half of year 2023.

The development of an efficient and integrated multi-modal infrastructure plays a critical role in reducing trade costs and enhancing competitiveness to promote intra- regional trade. Developments of trade –related infrastructure is especially critical for the implementation of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement.
